Landscapes
Battered, aged, sandy, wet, deplorable, commendable, awesome in so many different ways. Landscapes come in so many different forms. Add in a stunning sky and they become even more incredible. As I journey the world I try to see things differently, try to see the same places differently. I can never do them justice, but I'll never stop trying!
Portraits
I call them Soul-Portraits, because I only shoot them when I connect with a person, when I know their story, when I see beyond makeup and skin. When I can see deep into their souls and feel their tears, feel their euphoria.
Man-Made
Architecture and urbanscapes can make us reach for the heavens or bury us in the deepest of chasms. A celebration of man-made objects that shock and awe.
Floral
Beautiful yet so humble. I've spent years marvelling over the beauty of these little creations. Big, small, colourful, plain, they are beautiful in so many different ways! I hope I can always find joy and beauty in nature.
Blurry Streets
Street photography. A genre that both delights and daunts. Thanks to the Mentorship Group on Google+, I embraced this artform, but it didn't feel mine until I added some blur in. Here are some of the images taken over the years across various streets and cul-de-sacs.
Oh Heavens!
I find myself looking up all the time. And sometimes, I get lucky. Sunrises, sunsets and clouds. A section dedicated to the heavens!
